AISocial ("we", "us", "our") operates AISocial ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). We never store plaintext passwords.
Transaction data: We record tips you send and receive, including amounts, content URLs, timestamps, and associated platform/creator information.
Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
Usage data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited for analytics and security purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process tips and manage your account balance
- Send transactional emails (account verification, receipts)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve the Service through aggregated analytics
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Service providers: Stripe (payments), infrastructure providers (hosting), and email delivery services, solely to operate the Service.

Public tip activity: When you tip a creator, your display name and tip amount may be visible on the creator's public profile. You may choose to tip anonymously in the future when that feature becomes available.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and regulatory compliance. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords (bcrypt), rate limiting, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
